Mita Can Finish Her School Children in Medan
There is a mother who lived near my house. She is Mita. Mita is alone in making a living. Her husband had left for good a few years ago. Mita has 2 children. The first child was sitting in class one high school and the second child sitting in 3rd grade junior high school. Job takers only used plastic in the trash. Mita working in a small house in North Sumatra, which is located at Gatot Subroto . Every day Mita had a distance of 3 kilometers on foot to reach the place of operation. Usually Mita left for work from home at 08.00 pm, to the workings around 09.00 a.m. So that, for a distance of 3 kilometers, Mita should use about an hour time.
Then Mita home of the workings around at 15:00 pm. After arrive her house, Mita indirect break, but seek additional money to meet their needs. But not only that she does. But there is additional work that should she do. Other work was ironing clothes at his neighbor's house and wiping clothes. Because according to her, if only one worker alone, her income will not be enough to finance the school and their children meet their daily needs . That is why he is adding another job for the sake of her family.
Mita’s job hunters can be said that a long job she is doing. She worked in place that used to take old plastic starting in 2008, until now in 2013 she is still working on the site. So Mita working in a small house with a dirty plastic cleaning is approximately 6 years old.
After that Mita get paid according to the number of plastic scales that have been cleaned . And a kilo of plastic costs 650 rupiahs. So that Mita can clean plastic approximately 8 pounds every day. And then out of plastic scraps, Mita sometimes doing other jobs such as mopping the small house , separating food used or secondhand goods contained in the plastic .
That is not too much, Mita able to educate her children. All her children is graduating high school. And Geisha is as the first child, she directly working. But now a second son name is Gilang be the only her hope, to be a successful kid. According Mita that Gilang will take care when she is old.
So her hope, Gilang will become a successful person. Because according to Mita, if her success, his parents became good future .According to the Batak culture, the last child who will get their house. In addition, only her children who can take care of the latter during she is old age. Although only a worker Mita plastic taker, she is very happy , and do not feel embarrassed by his job .
